Well. as indicated in previous posts, Cheryl had a slight set back in dealing with her Type II Diabetes. It was unrelated to the Diabetes, but required Surgery on her Big Toe. Actually, we decided on the amputation of the tip of the toe, rather than go thru 6-8 weeks of Intravenous Antibiotics. It appeared the sigmoid bone, a bone on the bottom of the toe became infected, a result of a callus Cheryl has had for quite a few months. Since the bone was infected, there were only two options. As we said, because of all side effects of long term Antibiotics, and no mobility problems with the amputation of the tip of the toe, we elected this alternative. Her toe is healing properly, actually the stitches came out today. However, Cheryl was instructed to stay off the toe as much as possible so it would heal properly. She now has been instructed to start walking around, and we anticipate her returning to work in two weeks.
WE'VE DECIDED TO PROVIDE THIS DETAIL OF HER SET BACK.
Primarily because we have been concentrating on the medical issue, rather than the Diabetes as aggressively as we should be. But first things first. An infection in a bone is potentially life threatening even in the bone if not totally eradicated. So, now we will can concentrate on this nasty disease called Type II Diabetes. The details on the actual condition, lab results, and our course of action.
Folks, with Exercise, diet, and proper supplementation, and essential acids, and good quality oils this Diabetes can be reversed. More to come. Hope we can be help to some of you.
Bob & Cheryl
